From what i can tell, any type of tracking is done once you get a VIN#. Window Stickers post approx 5-7 days prior to build date.

Leadfootcraig: i'd talk to the manager on the phone or in person....you are getting the run around.

I was told straight out in Dec that it would be 4-5 months, maybe even longer for an order to arrive. I ordered on 22 Dec and my ETA to dealership is now 13-18 Apr 18. So i'm looking for mine sometime next week. its on truck since it only has to go from Michigan to Ohio(no train thank goodness).

Ordered a Lead Foot SCREW on March 6 in Albuquerque. My salesman is acting all shady if anyone can help me here. I asked for the order number and he avoided those texts.

On March 20 he said “order has been received and accepted, it is now in line to be put on the assembly plant and should be a day or two before they start building it.

On then on April 5 he said “the allocations have not been released yet.”

Today he said “I will have the VIN shortly then you can track it.”

Wtf does all of this mean. They told me 6-8 weeks to get it and on week 5 I don’t even have a VIN or build date. I have the fever and I am getting all antsy and my wife is tired of hearing me complain and look at raptors at other locations. I paid a little under MSRP and got a good deal on my trade so it would be hard to walk away from this one.

You're getting your chain yanked. It's currently a 4-5 month wait for a new order. 6-8 weeks is a flat out lie. I ordered mine on 3/19/18 and I don't have a VIN and I'm not scheduled yet. I did get an order number, dealer code, and a screen shot of the order that was placed. I have confirmed the order with Ford Performance via the phone as well. It's in their system awaiting a VIN assignment.

Almost twins! Got my vin the same date and was originally told my build date was 4/23 also but just talked with Ford Performance and my build date was pushed back to 4/25.

Haha yeah! Sucks yours got pushed back 2 days, but that's not bad.
