Well the plan was "get drunk", didn't even accomplish that. Right now I have no idea.

OMG :win:

I wish there was something I could do. Coming from someone that played the waiting game, I am confident you will get a truck eventually. Just keep pressing forward, whether its with a stock unit on the ground somewhere, or ordering (I would say look for another dealer) a 2018, you will end up with one.

Thanks for the heads up. I will be on Raptor finder everyday for sure.

What color are you looking for?
Out of the 4 dealers with raptors on the lot 2 would sell at msrp and 2 wanted 5k over. Of course both that wanted adm had avalanche which is what I want.

Ruby Red. There are two on Raptor Finder that are close enough to what I want. But they are both going for ~$5k ADM. At this point I think it more likely to get a 2018.

Lol and Im having a hard time finding A.G. good luck. If A.G. was offered in 2018 I would just order that.

Sick of waiting for ANY word on the VIN for my order which I placed on 2/3/17.
The dealer has an allocation of 3 and told me that the order had finally been accepted by Ford on 3/29.
The dealer should be (and seems to be) motivated since I have paid more than 51k down with the trade-in of my old truck last fall.
He tells me that Ford is very slow in processing the orders for Raptors.
Frankly - I'm thinking about just cancelling the order.. I really don't like the idea of paying over MSRP anyway.
If anyone from Ford is reading this (highly doubtful) they should really consider paying closer attention to the people ordering their cash-cow vehicles.. While I like Ford trucks, right now the Chebbies aren't looking bad and they're a butt-load less expensive!

Well - I FINALLY have a VIN 3 months after placing the order.
Supposed to be built the week of May 22nd...
I was right on the verge of cancelling as I think that a wait like this for a vehicle that's not a limited production is ridiculous...

Just an update to vent a little about my frustrations I ordered a Raptor fully loaded in January they finished the truck in mid April it then sat at the manufacturing plant for a week then the truck got transported to Albuquerque where its been sitting for the past 5 days its just a 2 hour drive away from the dealer I ordered the truck from but the transport company isn't moving for unknown reasons...

It's taken almost a month for the transportation company to move the truck from the manufacture plant to the dealership what the ****!!!

Anyways I know some had it worst and some have it easier, I'm just venting. It looks like a lot of people are hating the ordering process for these trucks.

Side note my dad placed a deposit on a fully loaded ruby red one then found out 2 weeks later that he just placed a deposit to be entered into a biding war for this truck starting at 88k there were 4 people who placed a deposit on said truck. needless to say my dad pulled his deposit, I hope the other people pull there deposits too but with demand so high the dealer might get away with it...
