I hope it isn’t as bad as I think...doubtful any frame damage but I hate the idea of driving around a truck that was flawless & now has been in a major accident- particularly since I own it outright as I said now it no longer has clean carfax for instance.

people need to put their ******** phones down & pay the F attention!!!!

I rolled my truck in 2006. Was considered totalled but insurance company changed their mind. It cost over $16k to fix and not once was my truck ever listed as damaged on carfax. Still isn't today and I still own it.

I used to ride motorcycles when I was younger....had a few (F4i, R6, R1) - no more. They’re just too dangerous....& this is from a guy w/ a 750whp Z06 & quads/waverunner/raptor etc

Had a deer run out in front of me going 45 the other day on the bike. Talk about pucker factor.
Seriously, with all the ******** out there, riding a bike isn't what it used to be, but after being at 9/11, and getting cancer from it (All's well so far), you have to enjoy life. BTW I'm 66.

To the OP, you're not hurt. When it comes down to it, it's only a truck. If they total it, take the check and go buy a new one. If they fix it and you're not happy, trade it.

damn, hope youre still feeling ok a couple days later.

The one reason to flash the truck back to stock would be do it following the procedure to unmarry the device. If you get a new truck you still might have to pay for a new tune (different pcm serial # and strategy) but you could at least re-use the device

Smart girl, early 90's vettes were/are pos's, lol.

from a 2020 lense...maybe....POS is a stretch. I am looking for a 92-96 C4 with a 6 speed. Just waiting to find the one that has not been "modded" yet and has under 50k miles.

my buddy recently sold his ‘96 GS convertible w/ M6 tranny....basically the “holy grail” of C4s aside from the ZR1 (which personally is the only C4 I’d consider owning) - believe me - there’s a helluva lot of difference between a C4 & any semblance of a modern performance car, the leap to the C5 was dramatic. The difference between a C5 & C6 though? Not so much other than headlights & the 6 speed automatic, the difference in rigidity alone is huge & immediately noticeable. Also- C4/C5/C6 - theyre all getting old @ this point, but another big change from C4 gen to the C5/C6 was better electronics & thats already a pita to begin w/ on these cars lol

good luck w/ that search either way

heading out to empty the truck out & get plates will get a better look @ it not sure yet if it’ll be totaled but the ins co is certainly acting as if

Now I don't feel so bad. Richnot, we're in a similar club. Back on my bike after a year.

Yes set we are definitely in the same club along with goblues38
Since then several things have happened year by year by year.
2 ACL surgeries and 4 rotor cuff surgeries that have failed and now I’m waiting for a complete reverse shoulder replacement. Just about all of the damage was done to my left side which was dridev into the ground.my right side that was hit Broke my leg and ankle damage.

the worst was rolling on my back with the bike between my legs and that’s where the back damage started

Now I have a 5 level lumbar fusion, a Spinal cord stimulator to help control the pain and help with walking, and hopefully the thoracic level above will not break down next, the domino effect. And yes I still have a few bikes and just bought a 110 year anniversary Harley Dyna Super Glide. Between all of them I think I have put On 20 miles

I hope that all others suffering with any type of issues find some comfort and don’t be afraid to see a doctor or talk to someone, it can change your life as much as owning a Raptor can!

Don't get too offended, but I don't like very many chevy products, old nova's and the new corvette's are nice. Intrigued with the new Hummer though.

What year Nova`s do you like? Are you looking to build one from a solid no rust car in primer or are you looking for a driver/turnkey/

We should start a "you show me yours, I'll show you mine" injury thread. LOL
C5/6 fused due to a fire related injury. Now C6/7 starting to break down.

2019 Ultra Ltd bought a year ago. Only 1100 miles. Have to pick my days.

Don't take injuries lightly!!!!
