I have another question about taking delivery of the Rap. Is it a given the dealer will present the truck with a full tank of gas? This has always been my experience with every other vehicle purchase, but 36 gallons is a lot of gas, so I am just wondering what to expect.

Depends, I know Randy fills the tank prior to delivery...

Unless it's drop shipped to another dealer out of state. I can't controll anything past the PDI (pre-delivery Inspection) Some drop ship dealers, won't even wash the truck for me??

I always try to get a drop ship dealer that will treat my customers with respect. If I hear that one of my guys has a bad experiance, I will not use that dealer again.

I always fill any truck that I pick-up, deliver or one that's on one of my dealer lots.

Mine hasn't been delivered yet but on my order confirmation sheet there is a "fuel charge" of $100.10. Anyone else have this? This is right above the "adv assessment" charge and the "dest and deliv" charge.

My truck had 50 miles on it when I got it and only because the trucking company that brought the truck from Dearborn wanted to let my truck sit in their yard for at least a week because they apparently didn't want to send it to the dealership by itself even though the dealership was only 30 minutes away. Called my salesman and he went by the trucking company yard and drove my truck to the dealership. Otherwise, my truck would've had only 5 miles or so at delivery. I didn't mind trading some miles to get my truck a week or more early.
