Mr. Wolf,

I plan on running both front and rear drain tubes to the front of the bed through the plastic bed plugs (combining the hoses near the bed plug). I just don't want to cut into my bed. Do you think this will work out?

I think it could be done that way. As I noted before, the tubing is a weird size and material. It is about 0.95" OD and 0.70" ID and it is neither vinyl nor rubber . As the pic shows, it does stretch enough to fit on a 3/4" barb fitting. You could use 3/4" barb tees up front and then get some 3/4" ID vinyl tubing from the hardware store. You may have to use hose clamps to get the vinyl tubing to stay on the barb fittings that are in the side rails as they may be slightly small. I do not have any vinyl tubing to check the fittings on the side rails. Just make sure the tubes from the back have slope and no flat spots where water would collect.

Since the security of the cover is somewhat compromised by the ability to release the lock with a coat hanger or similar tool after prying up the edge of the cover and hooking the handle to pull and release the lock. I decided to remove the majority of the handle, leaving only a small portion that can be used to release the lock. I also installed a small clip to keep the remaining portion of the handle a little farther out-of-reach.

The plastic of the handle is fairly soft. I cut it with wire cutters and then filed it smooth. It is still easy to release the lock.

Just wondering if anyone who has this cover has any hard off road experience? Specifically wondering if the cover stayed in place and if it holds up well to tough conditions. I have a Bakflip F1 on now and am considering buying this as a replacement. I like the ability to have easier access to the bed(I have a light bar mounted) but don't want to install something if I can't trust it to stay put. My truck sees some pretty hard off road conditions and I don't want a cover coming loose when jumping the truck.
