Had mine installed by Trick Trucks almost two years ago, no issues, very nice fit and finish, four drain tubes, nice seal up against tail gate. Well worth the money and resistant to crow bars and sledge hammers.

A little water will get in under the cover due to the gaps in the top of the tailgate from the step. I put some weather seal in the gaps to keep out water.

After you install it, climb in the bed with the cover closed and tailgate up to check for light leaks, during the day of course, to check for other places water could get in.

The quote I got from Line-X on the Truck Gear version of this cover was about $600 more than what I ended up ordering the TCUSA version for. For me, it was not worth the extra money for the Lifetime Warranty.

The Truck Covers USA American Roll Tonneau Cover is scheduled to be delivered on Monday. Ordered it last Tuesday evening from AutoAnything.com and it shipped the next day. I also added the Keyless Entry option.

That's a pretty serious premium tacked on for a lifetime warranty. Need to get mine ordered this week - truck "should" be here one of the next few days. Good luck with the install.

If you haven't already found a place to buy one, try AutoAnything.com.

1) Go to AutoAnything.com
2) Make an account and sign up for email updates and specials
3) Add the cover to your cart and then wait....
4) You will probably get an email with a code for saving another 10%.

If you don't get an email, just chat with them and ask for a discount.

And don't forget to add the Keyless Entry option.

Do you know if you can lock the cover at any position? I would like to be able to partially close the cover around big boxes that I am hauling. Basically I want to be able to leave it halfway open sometimes.

Yeah been looking at them - I got the Undercover Swing Cases from them for half off after seeing your thread on them (greatly appreciate the heads up). Truck Covers sent me a list of local distributors/installers that I'm going to give a try first but will not hesitate to go to Auto Anything if the price isn't close. Definitely going with the keyless option. Thanks for the heads up!

Last weekend I installed the American Roll Cover. It took a lot longer than I expected as the plastic shims provided for the bed rail clamps were flat and made the side rails twist up too much, since the side of the truck bed rail is beveled. Once I switched to some tapered shims it made the rails sit more level.
