Historically they have not been, this area has been in a significant drought for quite a while. Not sure if the recent / pending rain changes that or not.
@treypal - What do you say, boss-man?

The landowner's do not have the actual final word on this. Even if they were to allow you need to go to see if the county has a burn ban in place. Most counties out there do because of the drought and they are really hurting in that specific county.

Completely agree, I just thought Trey would know before I would. In addition, regardless of whether burn is legal or not, the landowner may not want fires at all.
