Usually there aren't a lot of pics during the events. Everyone is busy having fun. Plus there will usually be a seperate thread- post event. Just go if you live so close. It's worth it to go see the vendors, hang out with other owners, and check out everyone's rigs. If I lived in Texas DFW I would be there for sure.I keep wanting to see some pics and videos. I just picked up my Raptor last week and can't justify abusing it with only a few hundred miles on it. I wouldn't mind checking it out if anyone is headed out for the day from the DFW area.
Ahh the continuing struggle to maintain self control. The struggle is real. The light shootout is awesome but the Safari ride is where it's at. Both shouldn't be missed though. Just go. You won't regret it. You won't be able to get on the track anyway without taking the appropriate steps. That should give you time to reconsider! The only problem is that if I took my own truck, I know I would do something stupid. Hell, I still don't even have license plates yet. I really want to go check out the bumper and light vendors. I think it would be awesome to see the lights compared side to side tonight (at least thats what I think they are doing in the Apollo Optics lighting shootout).
