I am curious on your thoughts, about a package with
SAE Amber--fog
Driving Combo
Spot

I know you can do this in both the Rigid 360 and the BD. The rigid 360 would give you a back light on 2/3, and with the BD, all three light should be the same size-not the 2-spot on the outside.

Plan would be for SAE on one swith, but the spot and combo- on their own switch--those are for off road.

This way you have both clear and amber lights for the weather.

The back lighting is "neat" but you trade off performance. Unless you go with the 360-Series, then you get some performance BUT if you wanted SAE, no back light. So it's tough to decide what you want.

I don't think 2 out of 3 lights with back lighting would look good. It would look like you either FORGOT to turn the 3rd set on (which we know you didn't) or that something is broken. Just would not look right. Either all or nothing for back lighting is my advice. And with that said, no back lighting and go for quality output.

And I agree with either all or none, having a back light.
If I do plan on doing a behind the grill and A-pilar down the road, is there another combo you would recommend for the bumper/fog light section. I am only interested in 1 pair up front needing to be SAE.

So you could get the SAE in clear and a set of amber covers.

The combo above is a pretty good setup. If you plan to do other lighting maybe go with

getting ready for a baja install this weekend! thanks 4x4

Is there a recommended placement of each lamp type. I have the following and not sure which order will be best (my concern the outer gap on the bumper is smaller)


Squadron SAE Wide Cornering
Squadron Sport driving/combo
Squadron Sport Spot

looking at the raptor I was going to place as follows:

SAE/Driving/Spot - Spot\Driving\SAE

Suggestions or am I over thinking it ?

It's not going to honestly matter much with our brackets. Use the center channel since you have 3 squadrons and none of them will be blocked. So it's a preference as to how you want the front to look at all times.

I have my "always on" lights as the outter ones, as I think it looks the best aesthetically.

Maybe do the SAE on the outside, Spots in the center, Driving/Combo on inside?
