Bummer. All the so called “vaults” and “safes” just slow the thieves down.

Actual safes, as opposed to all of the not-safes that are called safes, are rated in hours. As in how many hours it takes to get inside. A safe buys time. Gun safe, console vault, crappy lock box, same same. You hope that the thief doesn't have the time he needs. In a parking lot with the alarm going off? No problem. After they flatbed your truck to a chop shop? Different story.
