Also had the AFE pan installed. Ended up having Ford do it after wanting a flush.
Techs had no issues with the pan, installation wise.
On long drives, the temps go to the same temp as stock pan, but it takes a lot longer.
Also, offroading, it seemed to not want to go over 220 F, while pushing mid-high rpm in 4x4 high in sugar sand for good distances.
It also cooled down pretty quick.
