Transmission skid

Was looking at transmission skids, Nessasary or no? Anyone have pictures of them mounted ?

I really like the idea of a skid plate there for what it protects and wouldn't off-road without it but it does collect dirt and rocks so plan on removing to clean after a weekend of fun.

Trans skid is HIGHLY recommended. I had one on for TRR 2015 and by the end of the last day, it was all beat up - worth it.

Even though heavier, I went steel. Glad I did. And cheaper.
