GEN 2 Transmission issues

Agree with @Muchmore. at this point, don’t try to self correct. let the technician troubleshoot it. A good tech has a process to go through and the more you (we; owners / users ) change things from the time of problem onset, the more variables and unknowns you introduce into the problem or equation for the tech to resolve.

I will guess that visible fluid does not bode well.

Dealership trans guy is a month out....

Seems to be a common thing.

Six weeks later the truck is finally in to the dealership. A typical transmission leak was not found, it appears the fluid is coming out of the breather and is a mix of transmission fluid and coolant. They believe the transmission cooler ruptured causing the fluids to mix, transmission fills with some coolant, which then would cause the transmission to fail. Oddly enough they have another f150(non Raptor) in with what appears to be the same issue.

Anyone else had this happen? Are these coolers prone to failure?

8 weeks later, truck is back w/ a new transmission from Ford. Failure began with the transmission cooler as stated above.
