Yeah I don't think any fluid will go 100k. I'm going to have a talk with the service department manager about it, I guess I'll get the bigger transmission cooler from full race or mishimoto.
My 95 Silverado did, 125k actually. Shifted great until the flush, it has never shifted smoothly since.
Correct, he waited too long, for the reason you said. At that point, he would have been better not change the dirty fluid and wait until the transmission goes out.No it didn’t. What you experienced was you waited too long and the only thing holding it together was the clutch material that was suspended in the fluid. Change it before it gets so dirty that it’s wearing out your clutches and it would’ve lasted longer.
