Lots of commentary here on this, but you might want to be a little more specific. Are you talking about a GEN1 6.2L V8 or a GEN2 EB V6?

Really all I need to know I guess is can the gasket be reused? I dont want to get the pan off and find out I have to go to the dealer.

I dont think anyone even makes one. I would be happy with a stock sized metal pan.

I looked into this a few months ago and I'm pretty sure the filter is not easily serviceable and a specific fluid is used. I'm used to servicing trans at 30000 intervals and not sure what the answer is. I guess we are forced to use the Factory maintenance schedule.
