I would never recommend these 17s to anyone. Too much untested.... the transmission is not proving to be reliable and just wait until you get engine misfires and cam phaser rattle. I feel bad that the power sucked you in. No doubt it is powerful, BUT, this is a terribly unreliable combo.
Definitely a downgrade from the reliability of gen 1. I don't care how many cylinders either has... gen 2 is just proving to be problematic.

Man you are a piece of work! The 2010 Raptor I ordered stayed in the shop more than I got to drive it the first 6 months I had it let it go at the 10 month, I guess you never had a Raptor, and your life is perfect, if you have a Gen 2 then talk all about how bad it is, until then go back in the forest you came from. There are a lot of Gen2 Raptors that are not having any issues. Oh yeah if you drill a weep hole in what ever you have it might let some of the bad mojo out of you, for gods sake, leave the few guys that are having trouble alone! I fill bad for the guy having issues. Where your happy, so sad that you can only be real behind a keyboard. This is my 4 th first year vehicle, only one bad one, and it was a taken care of. So grow up.

Seriously, please just go away. :yourself: All you do here is come into threads you have no positive contribution to make in, lob a ‘grenade’ for the sole purpose of making yourself feel better.

Ok... that’s why we’re all here, but you simply are contributing nothing here.

1) 3 reported transmission failures out of how many thousand sold in just January? The people who have suffered transmission failures and posted about them here had a bad deal for sure and most of us felt bad for them, but you were right there gloating about what a POS the new truck is.
:beatdeadhorse5::beatdeadhorse5::beatdeadhorse5:

2) you very much do care about how many cylinders the truck has, do we really have to link your posts from other threads here?

That's why he got booted from f150forum.com as: Sasquatch77, FRFJimbo, darrylgibbs, 93CobraOH, 02_Lightning and probably a few more usernames I can't think of at the moment.
But he still posts there under a new username. :troll3:

Hey nassty you are right, I'm tired of him on f150forum and now here. We have chatted a few times on f150forum. He needs to go away.

God dammit just shut the **** up and go away.

Your knowledge is not true and your rumors are also false.

I have a 2/8 built truck and its flawless.

Crossing my fingers. The truck I bought locally is getting its PDI tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll be able to pick it up tomorrow. This is to replace the first truck I tried to buy down in Oregon that ended up needing a new transmission before I could take delivery.

Hi, good luck with the truck! Hope it is perfect, and that you really enjoy everything about it. I have had mine for 7 weeks now with no issues and it has been nothing but a blast!

Well here is the update on my friends transmission. They replaced the whole transmission.

On his way home today FROM THE DEALER the transmission ran hot and went all the way to the H. It puked fluid out all over the underside.

He isn't happy
