FordTechMakuloco says rear diff 30k - 60k depends on towing/hauling etc.

Front diff every 60k depends on how much 4X4

Tcase every 30k

I adjust depending on my own use and conditions

Looking at about $120 in fluids so not too bad.

yeah i figured id do tcase every 25k-30k with the trans, but changed it @ 15k after some offroading the oil was black so doin mine every 10k.
Interesting on the rear diff, i change mine every 50k, but fluid still looks good. Im all for maxin out the lifespan of my stuff so interested on your take on 30k intervals, may start doin that too. Also, whats your take on friction modifier? Its not needed per say but read/heard its not bad to add.
Friction modifier is for clutch type limited slip differentials.

Gen 2 has electronic locking, Friction modifier is a waste of time and money. Although some gear lube comes with it added already.

Yeah only asked cause the amsoil version comes with it. Usually stick to the mercons for everything past the motor. Thanks

Just did my t-cse today and I wholeheartedly agree with @Old-Raptor-guy suggested intervals. Because of the nature of the slipper clutch for 4 auto.

I purchased :
3 qt mercon LV and I had a bottle pump.

13mm sockt needed for the skid plate

3/8’s drive for the drain plug….

Gather all and a drain pan

Remove 4 skid bolts

ALWAYS loosen your fill plug FIRST . That way in the (off chance) event you cant get her out and you pull the drain first theres no way to get fluid in…

Then pull your drain …

Once she’s empty. Pump in some fresh with the drain open to “ rinse” the old out.

Fill until she spews at the top. Then seal her up and it takes approx 2.1 qt. Save the 3rd qt for the next year / service.

Tq the plugs and put back the skid (make sure you strip the bolts out :p)

Heres old vs new:

As you can see… twas’ dark but not burnt. service this tcase often.
