Not sure if being sarcastic, but 100% solid confirmation that XL-12/ESP-M2C166-H transfer case fluid is replaced by XT-10-QLVC/MERCON LV and is specifically cited to be used in "F-150 Raptor" models years 2012-2014 and 2017-2019 (not sure why it does not go back to 2010, but does for the broader "F-150 / Expedition / Navigator" application; 2010-2019, in fact). Note that this may NOT be true in reverse...there are some applications where MERC LV is called for where XL-12 can NOT be used.

Reference Ford's official Motorcraft Chemicals and Lubricants site:

I wrote that in May 2011. You can tell by reading the date stamp.

I recently changed my transfer case fluid and used this, I confirmed with the dealership that this would not void any transfer case warranties.

Well, if nothing else, the packaging sure makes it easier to fill.

Just changed mine with Motorcraft brand MECRCON LV... Only took two quarts... but had to pour into an old gear oil container with a spout to get the right angle to get it to go into the fill hole in a transfer case. The Motorcraft quart containers had the real wide mouth... didn't have any spout6 that would fit it. Those bags would make it easier still

I just did my differentials and used Amsoil gear oil. The pouch is real handy. Filling the rear differential was a snap. Nothing makes maintenance on the front differential easier.
