Fortunately, MOST people understand what is going on, how the pandemic has spread and can spread, how folks can be asymptomatic and how the government is not doing all the things it's doing because they want to, or are getting kicks out of using their Constitutional powers just because they are "tyrants" (as the cry babies are saying while they storm capitals with their AR-15, like they are actually going to pull the trigger, lol, please). Most Americans understand that the actions being taken are to help protect their citizens. Yes, there is a point about the economy, this is not lost on the State governments, quit acting like they want this.

MOST people, understand they have a part to play in getting past this ASAP and to get back to normal. MOST people understand that yes, the economy is being destroyed by this, but one of the alternatives is you have perhaps millions in the US killed, and an extension of the shutdowns into the years, instead of months.

Will all you "don't tread on me" "three percenters" stop crying if we open the economy and then in the fall we have a huge spike that shuts down the country even more drastically, will you join the team then or will you cry about YOUR constitutional rights, people's lives be damned?

Agree. Half the country, including a few Raptor owners evidently, need to grow some balls. Be safe, do what's required to keep yourself and the vulnerable folks protected, but let people go about their lives. The politicians only want what's best for their careers and a pile of favorable press reports. Domestic abuse, robberies, drug abuse and suicides don't count as COVID incidents for politicians...so let the people suffer. No one wants deaths, but we have to come to grip with the fact that some will happen. Maybe someone in my family...the difference is we're all willing to take a risk to keep the economy from collapsing. One in five people in my state are now out of work. Train horn me and you'll get a different but more lasting response.

Well, I aint gonna ******** my AR-15 and go cry and have a tantrum about "tyrants" at the capitol building, maybe you should go and do that, Edit: i shouldn't encourage anything here. There's an argument to be made about the economy, I haven't heard any "Tyrant" say they don't care about the economy. The reaction by some that emergency be damned and the Government has no right and now i'm gonna go down with my AR-15 and show them what's up (LOL, they ain't doing a damn thing, but cool AR-15 bruh), it's sad. I know they think they are the "real americans" and everyone that doesn't think like them is a tyrant, luckily they are less than 3 percent, more like .000001%, but they have loud mouths.

I don't own or want an AR, however, I do strive to make a decent living. That would be impossible for me without leaving my house. I don't know anyone with the virus, nobody I know personally knows anyone local with the virus. So yeah, if I was unfortunate enough to be out of work for 2 months, I would be livid, bordering on desperate.

I was in crowds last night in HB....because Newsom closed the beach path during my nightly bike ride. It was either ride through a bunch of people or ride down PCH at night. I'll take my chances with the coronavirus over drunk idiots. Forcing everyone into a smaller space is going to accelerate the spread.

And all of this is because some ****** at the Orange County Register took pictures from the pier with a 380mm lens to deliberately make people who were on the beach look like they were close together....aerial shots by NBPD show people practicing good distancing at same hour.

Agree that was a stupid way to protest though... should've gone to the beach and set up 10 ft apart.

im in Ventura and we have the same slanted reporting about our beaches. All the lots are closed, so the only ones there are folks who rode their bikes or walked. Newsom (or anyone on his staff) could have easily looked at one on the many web cams on Surfline to see the beaches were very empty. $sshat, indeed...surf on!

I agree with you on that point...I too think people who open carry at rallies are idiots. Even at 2nd Amendment rallies.

@Denvertaco07 I never said anything about taking an AR to the capital and never called anyone a tyrant. Take your argument to those who are for it. I don't think anyone on this thread has pushed for armed protest against "tyrants". You're sort of talking to yourself. I don't control what people do to express themselves. Personally I'd rather hang out with those guys (who likely are opposed to violence) than the loser Antifa who hang out in the Peoples Republic of Seattle and Portland and terrorize property and people.
