Dammit man! Is it morning yet??? The Raptor is a dream to drive, enjoy

(And you need to put up, or you will just fall into the prius division...)
Just going to have to say goodbye to the Vette. For now. Can’t drive my son in it for another 4-6 years. I hate leaving him behind when I could take us all. Granted. The top won’t come off the raptor but that’s ok. The truck doesn’t solve the “can’t just park anywhere” problem the Vette has. But for different reasons haha

The ATL
But the internet says it’s too wide for spots lol
It is. It is really big and wide. You will come to love and appreciate these two issues

Driving downtown ATL is a blast because everyone G T FO of your way

But the internet says alot, although everything the internet says is true. You can park it anywhere

The running boards, if installed the right way will prevent any from opening their door too wide and hitting the truck

Personally I've never had an attraction to a Vette and with young kids I don't see the point of it taking up space.
I sold my Wrangler after I bought the Raptor. It's a fun adult Lego but was never comfortable and the kids had their feet firmly planted on the seat backs even though they were both under 4.
The Raptor has tons of interior space and is a comfortable ride on all surfaces. The only thing I miss sometimes is having cargo interior space. The bed is convenient for large items but not so much for smaller items. The other downfall as someone mentioned is the size. I have to park it in the garage at an angle so I can't fit another car and pulling in/out is awkward.

I say go for it.

I’ve always been a vette/sports car guy. But I have to tell you the corvette is an amazing machine except, it’s BORING. It’s so fast but has no drama unless you’re at the limit and you can’t use it on the street. I can’t justify an 85000 dollar paperweight when I have two little kids. It doesn’t make sense any more. Maybe I’ll rejoin the fold after they are older. The Raptor has so much fun factor and rides like a lux car.

As to the wrangler. My daughter is 10
And nearing 5’0 tall. She’s too big back there as my seat is all the way back. My son is 2 and lives to kick my wife’s seat. Fun adult Lego is the best way to describe it.

As to the garage. No way it fits in mine but my daily lives outside anyway so it’s no difference. Way I see it, I gained workshop space and storage while my basement undergoes a remodel and when that’s done I can replace it with something with a little more soul AND have a raptor.

Im a recovering serial car trader. I always keep trucks the longest. I mountain bike. Hike. Play hockey. I use the bed all the time. I need to keep one and I hope having the most fun F150 keeps me hooked.
