Great example of getting the right truck for your needs. Unfortunately diesel prices in many areas is costly and negates the MPG savings but great if that is not the case!

Also GMC has done a great job with their trucks and seeing more Sierras driving around.

Congrats!

That 2nd generation motor gets phenomenal fuel mileage. GM made a lot of improvements to the 2023 L70 Duramax inline 6 diesel.

“Chevy officials say the second-generation L70 turbodiesel is being assembled at GM's Engine Operations in Flint, Michigan, and delivers a 10-percent increase in horsepower (from 277 hp to 305 hp) and 7.6-percent torque gain (495 lb-ft, up from 460 lb-ft), thanks to component upgrades that include:
  • New steel pistons with a revised combustion bowl
  • Retuned turbo compressor
  • New fuel injectors
  • Improved temperature-control features”

Well... i just traded my Raptor. Great truck and fun to drive, wanted a change and something a little lower to the ground for personal reasons I won't get into.
If you are interested, it is at Lake Chevrolet in Lewistown PA. Has 30k miles on it and was babied while I owned it.
37PP, power tech and pano roof, plus, PPF on the front with an Undercover Flex trifold hard tonneau. I left the wiring for the lights behind the lower grill (rigid connectors), plus the inner fog was upgraded with a Pro SR-M driving light. Otherwise, stock.
They have it listed for $74,988, which I think is reasonable.
I ended up with a 2023 Sierra Denali 1500 Diesel. Almost an even trade with the discount on the GMC.
I may be back in the future...
This just sounds like coming out of the closet with extra steps

Pretty impressive acceleration and drive characteristics. Happy so far.
Not a Raptor by the slightest stretch, (maybe the opposite) but suits my needs for now.

Does anyone truly think Ford Motor Company does not financially support and/or sponsor this forum? What did you do with your Raptor today….give me a break!

You are turning into a very grumpy old man. I was sad to see you trading in the Raptor but I understood it. If you are gonna keep up with this negativity you can just bounce out. Banter back and forth is expected on the line, but you don't need to be rude about it.

You’re from Washington, the state where 3/4 of the land mass want to become Idaho. Are you part of the cancel culture for which Seattle is so famous? Do you believe people should not express their opinions, especially if others are offended? Let me guess, you are the forum police? I actually thought you were an independent thinker and could understand another perspective, but now I don’t care what you think

You are on a roll with personal attacks lately. Good for you. Let your hair down and be your true inner self. Bravo.
