With so much going on and the fact I don't drive a lot, I felt I should dial things back for a while and traded the Raptor. I bought an Edge ST. What a blast that is to drive.

The Raptor is still at the dealer if anyone is interested. They're asking sticker for it, which I feel is too much. However it only has 1,037 miles on it and I added some appearance items and fog lights. It's like new in and out. It's at Sanderson Ford in Phoenix. Ask for Mike Gilbert and tell him the former owner sent you and he'll take good care of you.

Agreed... let the man move on without bashing him. He obviously was intrigued and interested in the Raptor, thought he wanted to own one... after owning he realized it wasn’t for him.

That realization could have come from one or many perspectives. Perhaps he will share with us why. It’s got to be more that a lack a driving.

I loved it while I had it. I trade fairly often so don't get that attached. I've been spending more on home renovation projects than I planned. Once I got started, all the might as wells got me spending too much. On top of that, I found I needed 3 root canals that the cost came mostly out of my pocket. I'm retired so don't drive a lot and figured this was the obvious place to cut back for a bit. I saw the Edge a couple of months ago when my Sister was looking at cars and knew in the back of my mind I wanted it. I got a pretty good trade on the Raptor and didn't have to pay any sales tax because I traded down, 1 year less payments at !.9%. Already looking ahead at the Explorer ST and Lincoln Aviator hopefully 1 1/2 -2 years out.

I totally get it. Priorities change for folks everyday. Nothing wrong with trading down. I’ve done it several times as well.

Hope you Enjoy your new Edge!

If can be happy driving an edge I’m not sure why you ever bought a raptor.
I've liked every vehicle I've owned for one reason or another and been all over the spectrum. Over the years, I've owned the following.
88 Dodge Daytona Sheby Z
90 Chrysler 5th Ave
93 Lightning
03 XLT Supercrew
05 Lariat Supercrew
07 MKX
10 Taurus SEL
12 MKT
14 Mustang GT Premium
14 Tremor
16 Expedition Platinum
17 Explorer Platinum
18 Raptor SCAB
19 Edge ST

As you can see, the only one I kept for a long time was the Lightning. It was nearly trouble free for 10 years. I only traded then because it had over 193k and was getting to the point where I'd need to spend big money, tranny, cooling system, exaust, oil leaks, front fuel tank, so I moved on.
