Using your VIN look up your window sticker. It'll have build date and some other info.

First - Ford Performance vehicles do not show up in COTUS.
2nd, your window sticker won't show up until about 7 days before the actual production date. For instance, my build date is 8/12. My window sticker appeared on 8/5.

How long after you placed order did it take to get VIN? Placed mine 7/24 still haven't heard from dealer.

Read post #224. Window sticker is tied to build date, not to order date.

While I realize my experience will not be the same as others due to the fact that I ordered an '18 the day after the order banks opened (and they were still taking orders for '17s) , my dealer had a VIN for mine on I think 6/20/18 or thereabouts.

I just took delivery today. My truck was built on 7/17/17 (Job #1 Day at Dearborn) and took almost a month to get to me. But there was a delay due to OKTB "batch and hold" for about a week of that.

My '18 just got delivered to the dealership today. So it looks like the '18's are making their way to the dealerships. Just glad I didn't have to wait long

So I got my VIN last week and I do not have a window sticker yet. I am trying to get an idea of how long it takes once built until delivery to dealer. I have been looking at some of the window stickers at local dealership and trying to find the build date to see how long it took to arrive. Is the build date the date at the bottom of the sticker just to the right of method of transportation?
