Just get a WD hitch & plan on upgrading the rear springs once you destroy them….which, at least w/ the gen2’s, seems to happen under “normal” use regardless by 50-70k miles, & if you’re not one to keep a truck 4-7+years & instead just swap em out every 2-3, who really gives a sh*t if it squats & flattens the suspension after a few years? You’d be trading it in anyhow. Here’s my 2020 gen 2 w/ 2 full size dobies + my 4 & 8 year old sons + my wife in cab + 400-450 lbs of crap in the bed + a twin PWC trailer w/ 1 VX & 1 FX Yamaha (“big” ones that probably weigh VERY close to 1k lbs each w/ fluids & crap in the storage bin) + a kayak that had crap in it that was putting more weight on the tongue than needed (fixed that on way back & showed less squat + just rearranged the load smarter in bed) & the truck felt like no big deal. Towed fine
700 miles each way, about 1500ish miles in total 12.4mpg w/ Gearhead performance tow tune loaded
