I just a purchased a 2018 with the 802A package, torsen Diff in the front, I’m wondering if the Torsen makes the drive slightly rougher. I drove a 2017 model a week before and for some reason I felt it drove way smoother, maybe is all in my head.

no....in "normal" every day driving...torsen vs standard will have no impact on ride quality.

tires will be you biggest change in ride in that situation. one must have **** tires near end of life

I’m only asking as if he only drove the other truck in 2WD mode vs maybe the 4A he’s in now possibly. He would be feeling power being delivered to the fronts.

Buy as mentioned above and since we have no facts. It can be tires or even air pressure in them. He can be rolling on 50psi right now. That’s what the dealer had me at after driving off the lot when I first bought the truck. I was like why does this truck bounce all over the road and ai feel every bump lol

Thanks for the response guys. I’m talking about daily driving , expressway and all that. It’s got 50k miles, so may be the shocks need to be replaced soon. Aire pressure I got 37,36 in the front, 36,35 in the back, 1 psi difference between each side. Tires don’t look too bad either, they are KO2

Ah ok.......36/34 F/R seems to be favored by many and myself. So your in the ballpark. If the tires have plenty of tread on them and are not chopped up, then there are mostly likely good. If it's mostly at highway speeds, then maybe they can use a re-balance as well. If the truck wasn't off roaded much, I wouldn't believe the shocks could be shot already. But if it was then 50k+ miles may have taken a toll. I'll let someone else chime in on that.

My shocks were done and I mean ride was noticeably bad at 56k with not a lot of off road. I just replaced them this summer, all better.
