Hey there,

I need your help deciding on the front end of my truck (Gen2 2020). I installed the Divers 4 HD + leaf springs as I have a fixed load on the bed.

I also installed an Eibach Springs in the front. After everything was still, I had a noticeable front end lift! Now I have removed the Eibach springs and reinstalled the factory springs , and now I have about 2" of front end drop! I am torn between a 1" top hat or an ADJUSTABLE SPRING PERCH COLLAR KIT, knowing that I don't mind a little rear end lift as I have extra load, a rooftop tent and recovery gear.

What do you recommend I go for, especially since I do moderate offloading and drive my truck daily?

I appreciate your help and advice.

keep front factory spring and put RPG (or other brand) drop shakles wich should low rear about 1,5"...And you will have more drop travel... but perhaps less good on road feeling , I have read some, or at least one member saying shorter drop shakles give smoother and better feeling, so... I don't know. good luck !

Ultimately I’d probably do a set of FRS and dial that 1-2” lift using those since you said moderate off road…kinda pricey though.

I can help…I just had my 2020 w/ 82k miles (at the time) go through a suspension refresh. The top hat buckets were fine on mine didn’t look worn so just reused- I did consider the TSW or other top hats as a front lift solution since I was adding deaver +3HDs….but came to the conclusion it was going to be too much of a lift in the front, w/ the +4HDs I think the top hats would be OK

For me I only wanted the bare minimum lift in front to accommodate the lift in the rear & not look ridiculous, got my shocks from shocks by hammer who had a set of new adjustable SVC collars- these are the threaded ones basically “infinite” adjustability, took little over an inch like 1-1/8” for the stance to look good w/ a 3/4” rake

I have a set of new icon “AAC” perch collars that are adjustable in 1/2” increments starting @ 1/2” & going to 2.5” I think, initially thought I’d use em on my build but hammer had the SVC available basically “free” send me DM if interested….while I think the top hats are a good solution to gain height w/o hurting axle angles or travel, you’re stuck w/ 1 set height & hope it settles out how you like- there have been guys who have installed the top hats w/ +4HD springs only to wind up looking for more height/adjustability options in front.

The +4HDs are gonna increase the rear quite a bit & remember you’re gonna gain back height from the fresh shocks as well, so measurements where you’re at currently aren’t really relative
