Are any other Roush owners dealing with check engine light issues?

I have a 2014 Roush Raptor with 31,000 miles. It has been in the shop 4 times for the check engine light, for multiple days at a time, with no rental car because it is a Roush. I am very disappointed with the service I have received. The check engine light just came on again and I am really sick of it! I think it's a joke that a $70,000 truck has this many issues with terrible service. I don't know that I will ever own a Ford again its disappointing because the Raptor is so awesome!

Before this truck I had a Tacoma I put 70,000 miles on with not a signal check engine light. Maybe it's time to go back to a truck that is reliable and holds it value. I am very disappointed in Ford and Roush with the truck purchased off the show room floor with the Roush package.

Is this just me or do other Raptor and Roush Raptor owners had any check engine light issues? They almost act like it's just normal to drive around with a check engine light on in a Ford at the dealership service department.

Toyota probably didn't have the Roush package and was completely stock from factory. Sounds like perhaps a bad Roush install. What did the shop tell you why the light was on? Was it the same reason all 4 times?

It was purchased off the showroom floor with the Roush package. It is running rich or lean I can't recall which one. Ford and Roush just point fingers at each other anytime it's in the shop. The last time it was in the shop it was there for 3 weeks and all they did was replace he O2 sensors in the exhaust. The check engine light has been off for about 4 weeks now last night the check engine light came back on.

Every service has been completed with synthetic fluids and the 30,000 service was just completed everything done the factory recommended and anything Roush recommends has been completed.

Im just curious if other Raptor owners deal with check engine lights? Do any other Roush owners have 30,000 miles or more? Do you have or have had any issues?

You will get a better response if you start a new thread asking these questions than hijacking a thread that was posted a year ago and has run its course. Also use the search in the forum and see if you find anything similar to what you are asking.

Welcome to the forum, Bones304! I want to alert your regional customer service manager so they can work on resolving this persistent check engine light. To get started, send me a private message (PM) with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

I’ll say this. Get used to changing plugs every 20k miles. You’ll burn them out. You’ll get knock sensor codes. Also, Roush tune sucks. Spend the extra money on a JDM tune. And upgrade the plugs.

it’s tempting. But I am thinking that keeping the boost lower and the HP lower would extend the life of the motor. I would be happy to see this monster make 200,000 miles. (Without a rebuild)
