Wondering if anyone has ever experienced a dealer purchase involving an auction. I was very hesitant on pulling the trigger, fully loaded AG Gen 2 every option with 37 miles on it, technically "used", they let it go for 76000.00. Which is still insane but the same build is getting 82,000.00 in my area. The dealer in GA lost their allotment because they couldn't sell the truck and my MA dealer bought it at auction. They never informed me on the title situation and now its a big waiting game. I was told 7 days on May 8th, it is now May 23rd with no update in sight aside from "I'd give it another week". The GM has been good to deal with, throwing me a loaner today for the aggravation. I have been very laid back about it though. Anyone on here have experience with the scenario? I am hearing horror stories about 4-6 weeks to get title from auction. Truck is sitting in private room detailed ready to go, driving me nuts.

that makes NO sense
still got the hook in yer mouth?

Explain? How could they cover that up? I searched the VIN and it matches to GA dealer. GA dealer can't sell another raptor? Not used with 37 miles. What could be the other scenario? Build date is 2-28, clean Carfax.

Jake, stop your usual trolling. He is not asking if he paid a fair value. He's asking about title. Geez you are more and more annoying as each day passes.

OP, sorry to hear of your waiting game. I'm not personally familiar with the auction process, hopefully someone can chime in with info. I'd start turning up the pressure on your dealer though.

Haha, I'm not worried about it. I am worried about getting my title. I was informed you lose your allotment for the Raptor if you have to give up to auction or another dealer. Who cares, I paid 76 instead of 82. I care about the title part. 6K over build is fine in my book instead of 10-15 that some people pay.

Haha I was trying to be polite as possible as this was my 1st post. I knew I wasn't losing my mind. Thanks.

$76K for what MSRP?

I have the window sticker at home, its 70 and change. Crew, 802A, Raptor Tech, extended bed, bed liner, forged wheels, decals (had them removed), applique, tail step, heated steering wheel, rear heat seats, panoramic roof, maybe 1 or 2 things I'm missing.

Manheim auction there are strict rules regarding timeline for sending title. If it's been long enough you can get your money back or ask for compensation.
