I can tell you that your rear springs are sacked.
And I bet the rear shackles are bent over just enough to shift the rear-end to the right.
Wheel alignment is not going to fix that!!!

Take some measurements from the frame to the inside tire on both sides.
It should be within 1/4 inch difference at the most between the two sides.

Time for some Deavers rear springs and Camburg rear shackles.
And since you jumping your truck a lot bump stops would be a good upgrade as well.
How old are the shocks? They probably need replacement too.
25,000 miles off-roading, shocks need to be rebuilt.
50,000 if only street.

Hey, the truck has done 73km and I'm pretty sure the shocks have never been rebuilt, so I'll be doing that for sure.

Truck is due a service now anyway, so taking it to the Ford dealer here to get serviced and then I'll let them diagnose the problem and work out a solution after.

I post in here what they say.

Morning fellas, so I took the car into Ford for its service to be looked at.

They've assured me the rear end is for a raptor and there is no issues with the suspension, in terms of rear shackles or bushes being worn. They did a wheel alignment and there was nothing wrong there either.

The only suggestion they could give so i was deflating too low and that causing the rubbing. When in the sand I go down to 10psi for the rears and 12psi for the fronts. Bear in mind though, this rubbing is only happening on the left hand side.

I told them I was not happy with the diagnostics and they've suggested they paint the worn shocks today and then we take a look at them next weekend after I've been in the desert again, then we can tell if its still happening or if this is an old issue that's already been resolved.

I'll get them to raise the truck this evening when I collect so I can take pics of the leaf springs to show you guys.

There was also wearing on the handbrake cable, but they told me not to worry about this.

Not really sure what to think. Normally a dealership garage will tell you there's loads wrong as they want your money.

12 and 10 psi. is quite low. I'm surprise you haven't broken a bead yet.

I'm guessing the tire rubs the shock when making left hand turns, that is forcing the bottom of the tire to push out and the top of the tire to push in.

I would suggest not going lower than 15 psi. in the rear and 17 to 20 in the front.
And even at that pressure you should be careful how fast you go.
If the tire pops off and your in a good turn at speed you could roll over when the wheel digs in. Just saying.

MTF - Appreciate the advise. I was only following what the other guys with trucks are deflating too. But I will try going to 15 at the rears from now. The issue we have is VERY soft sand here, but I'll see how I get on this weekend and will check the shocks again.
