No kidding? Huh... got a vid camera you can put on the dash and let run as you're experiencing this?

I'll try to get some footage of it this weekend (I don't drive on weekdays). Hopefully the camera can pick up the bouncing feeling. Also, I do remember seeing this discussed as being more prevalent on SuperCrews than SuperCabs.

I have the 2012 SCREW, When I first picked up the truck I found the ride a bit harsh and hard hitting in the front, so the next morning I aired the tires down from 52PSI cold to 44. I

I was wondering if going up a perch or two might stiffen the suspension and stop the rolling bounce, if it makes it worse I wont do it.
I have a camera and will see if I can catch this on film.

Think with top perch you notice the rolling/galloping over expansion joints more in a screw than a scab..

Rolling/Gallop might be a good term for this problem, It almost feels like the suspension cant keep up with the little bumps and it starts overcompensating by doing these little rapid bouncing thing all the way down that stretch of the road.

Coming from 2011 scab to 2012 screw it is very noticable.. Dont know if it is change in wheel base or stiffer suspension. After going to top perch on 2012 I noticed it choppier feeling in the front end due to increased spring rate. After removal of swaybar a lot of this choppiness is gone. I am not sure if the swaybar was causing the front end to fight against itself, or just transmit more nhv to steering wheel.

It’s called ‘harmonics’, to combat it you need to change on of the factors affecting it.
Changing the spring rate; changing tire pressure is the easiest way to do this.
Changing to a progressive rate spring.
Increasing the rebound setting on your shocks (are the raptor chocks adjustable?)
Add weight to the bed.
Change your speed.

Just my two cents worth

I tried to capture the bob/gallop with the dash cam but it's just too hard to see what it is. It just looks like you're going over a normal bump, but it definitely does not feel that way. I'll try again this weekend.
