Rears go to front. Cross the fronts when you put them on the rear. I do that on everything. You dealer seems lazy, stupid, or indifferent.

This!! I have been doing the same thing on all of my trucks for many years.

As for the dealer, take your truck somewhere else if they do not want to do it the way Ford recommends.
