I have seen someone take the camera out of the ford oval and zip-tie it to the tire gate. Not the best view but it works

Hahaha ok, sounds good. What about the vibration will move the camera. Vendors needs to come with something to re use the rear view with tire gate. You loose more space with a tire rack than a tire gate

That's the only reason i have not installed a tire gate yet. You will loose rear view camera.
At least there are some rear bumper that let you keep parking sensors

I've seen someone make a plate for the camera to snap/screw into and had it welded to the tire gate and then painted black... Looked nice but not sure how the wire was routed...
