Switching lanes is crisp
Moreso than the stock
But to be fair, I'm comparing the stock at 28k usage to brand new tires

The speed limit here is mostly 87 mph and a few highways are a 100 mph

So far it's more stable/planted on cruise control at 87 mph than the ko²
But I knew from just looking at the center lateral design

I've hit 130 mph very briefly on a private road
But not enough to determine an opinion
Yes, I know maximum speed is 100 mph
******** I don’t think I’ve gone faster than 90 in mine haha. Speed limit here in Cali is 65-70

Looks good! How’s it drive in the sand?

Are happy with the aggressive or lack of aggressiveness look to them in person, as you said? I like the look in photos but I don’t want to be disappointed in the aggressive look in person and wish I had gone with KM3’s

I really enjoyed it on sand.
The other day I was teaching my 10 year old guy to off road. At one point he almost got us dug into the sand, so I quickly tell him to stop.
I then gently feather the throttle forward and reverse. The outer lugs acted like paddles.

I was thinking about why I found them less aggressive in person today. I think it's because in the photos, the raised ridge between the large outer lugs wasn't very visible.
The raised ridge makes the gap/height of the lugs look less pronounced.
But now that the tire is getting used and developing a patina, the ridge isn't very visible anymore.

That's why I posted these photos today. For you and others considering them.

Just a suggestion here. Go look at the reviews on the Falken WildPeak AT3W. For one, it has a better warranty that most 35” tires. I’ve got a set on my Wrangler and I’ve been very impressed. They didn’t hurt the ride at all and the offroad capabilities have been fantastic. I do a lot of crawling and have never gotten stuck. They are definitely better than K02s on wet pavement or snow.

The only thing I don’t know about them is their performance in Baja offroading scenarios, but I’m still planning to buy a set for my Raptor after the K02s wear out.

Fyi. The Falkens have a 2 ply sidewall, u like the KO2s which have a 3 ply.

Used the same decibel meter application to measure sound.
Before: 75-76
After: 77-78

The tire is rated to 65 psi.
I have them on 52 psi.

So very negligible.
There's a slight whirring noise but ill fairly certain it'll reduce as the sharp edges taper off.
Similar to off road motorcycle tires.

I noticed that it absorbs smaller bumps more than my ko2 but feels stiffer on larger/deeper road imperfections.

I notice nose dive also slightly reduced. Perhaps from either from the increased tire pressure (52 vs 42), or rigid sidewalls, or the stiffer knobbies.

Mileage has remained the same.

What size are those Coopers?

Are they slightly smaller than the KO2’s?

I never measured a fresh pair of ko2 tires.

But if you do the math, even the stock ko2 is not truly 35.
In fact, no stock tire on the stock rim can be 35:

((315*70%) * 2)) + (17" converted into millimeters) = 34.4 or something.

So maybe the 315*79% is not calculated to the absolute roof of the tire?

But if you take a gander at my installation photos, you'll notice that the stt pro is significantly taller than a depleted ko2.

Actually, I could measure because my spare ko2 is unused.

But then it'd be a on rim vs free rolling comparison.
