GEN 1 Tire cupping

My Gen 1 is wobbling pretty hard when driving at 60-70 mpg. At speeds outside that mph interval the wobbling seems to be much less noticeable. The dealer told me this is happening due to cupping with my tires. I know my tires need to be replaced, but do you all think something else could be causing the issue? Something suspension related possibly?

Could be an alignment issue, but I would guess balljoints could be the problem (which would cause alignment issues).

Get the alignment..... If there's more, they'll find it then.

When is the last time you rebuilt your shocks? Ever check tie rods? As mentioned, ball joints...

Tire cupping is caused by a suspension problem either alignment, worn shocks or other components.
