GEN 1 Timing Chain install... HELP!!!

So, I need help installing my timing chains... I have replaced my Oil Pump Gears with the Upgraded Livernois in prep for my supercharger. I am at the point I need to get everything lined back up. I need to turn the Crank back to 11:00, Line up the dots on the gear that slides onto the Crankshaft with the darker colored links of the chains, then on the Camshaft sprocket, I need to line up the dark colored link with the marker on the sprocket. My problem is, I cannot get anything to move. I have tried a couple different strap-wrenches with no luck. Can I remove the chains and spin the Crank and the Cams independently? Do I need to get one of those Crank Sockets and is there a special tool to turn the Cam Sprockets? Hate to buy since I am hopefully only going to use once, but will if I have to. Open to anything at this point. Don't really want to have to send it somewhere. Seems like this shouldn't be too hard.

Reminds me of when I did the Timing Belt on my 2000 Audi A6. I was too cheap to pay the $1,800 for the service. So I spent a 3 day Labor Day Weekend doing it myself.

Take your time, and double check everything. you will be fine. Good luck.

you can’t spin the crank (safely) with the cams installed. So it’s best to loosen up the cams or take them out (so the valves are all up) then spin the crank to (I thought it was more like 4 o’clock on the dots)
Anyways I can’t fully remember unless I was doing it again and it would come back to me.
What I would suggest is to go to motorcraftservice.com and you can gain access to the service manual for 72 hours for like $20 or $30 bucks and it will tell you exactly the procedure

OK Corona... got a few pics for you:

So you have to have the "key" at 11:00. There are two links in the chains that are different colored. One lines up with the dot that is on the sprocket of the crank, the other one goes on the marked tooth of the cam sprocket. Not a bad process, but don't order the crankshaft socket from amazon. It doesn't work on a Ford. I was able to use a drill press with a cutter-bit to grind out enough to use it, but was very careful and had to sand it smooth so it wouldn't mar up the crankshaft.

You also have to loosen up the intake and exhaust valve rails enough to be able to spin everything and get it all to line up. There is a lot more to it than what I wrote up... I was able to get the process from a ford manual that I purchased a while back that has about 10,000 pages that basically is a step-by-step take it apart and put it together type of manual.
