How heavy is the KHC rack? I would imagine +3 would be a better option as you're around 200lbs already. I would imagine the rack weighs another 50lbs to put you at the 300lb area that it seems manufacturers recommend +3/HD springs.

Because I carry what you describe plus 5-10 gallons of gas and family stuff I went with +3 Deavers. Better to have them for my use because I would like to do some runs where 2 spares and more stuff may be needed. Plus the extra will help out towing.

Thats what i was thinking. I dont want to sell myself short. I want to do this once!.

How dose your truck sit with less of a load in the bed. Dose it sit really ass high?

Huck has the +3 installed already. Mine are sitting 2 stalls over from the truck in the garage. Waiting on the rest of the new suspension. My truck is hardly ever empty. The last few months are the only time in a long time that all I have in the bed is the bed rack and spare. Usually most of the recovery gear stays put.

I picked up Deaver +2 already... gonna sit in my truck bed for another 3~4 weeks before I can install them, still waiting for the SVC air bump kit to be finished and shipped. They are my babies now :baby: follow me anywhere I go... too damn heavy to unload by myself
