Yes, it would have to squat 2.75 to make contact. I sent them back today. Timbren changed the kit and part number recently because they said they were having problems with the one for the Gen 2. They claim the kit they sent me is the proper kit and that they have had no complaints. I find it very hard to believe. They wanted to send me spacers to drop the stop down 1.5 inches but that would defeat the purpose of having a progressive rate stop in my opinion. The block of rubber they sent me was only a few inches longer than the stock one and the rubber was twice has hard. No way this would have solved my problem. E-trailer customer service was great and when I showed them the pics they agree that this is the wrong kit for the Gen 2, however, they would not refund the money I paid for expedited shipping to me. I’m still a little frustrated about that but overall I’m
Glad they paid for shipping back and should be refunding my money soon. Back to the drawing board.
I am sorry to hear that. I apologize, I couldn’t stop myself from being a smart ass earlier.

Have you looked at the SumoSprings by Super spring? I know this is a Timbren thread but... I have had the SuperSumo on mine for a year, since the first time I hooked onto my trailer. I’ve ordered my Icon rear springs and waiting for them to come in, I’ll leave the Sumo’s on until I get a bump kit installed. I will remove Sumos, measure height and install new rear springs and remeasure ride height, I’m certain I’ve compromised the rear springs even with the extra “support”...

I wish I had a photo how the Sumos sit on the bump, maybe half inch of compression with 350 pounds in the front of the bed (hard cover rolled up). They have two versions a 1500 and 1000 pound rating. I have the 1500pound mode because my trailer is heavy.

Hope that helps. I’ll look on my computer at home and see if I have a photo of them installed.

No worries at all, a little smart asserey never hurt anyone. Thanks for the suggestions on the sumos. I’ll look into them. I’m interested in the icons as well and curious to hear what your experience is with them.

Fox air bumps or air bags

Has anyone used these? I have a 19 and with camping gear and dirt bikes in the bed and one on a hitch hauler, I have some sag I’d like to get rid of.

Also is there a way to increase the tounge weight? 500lbs doesn’t seem like a lot. I’d like to have two bikes on my hitch hauler which has a 600lb capacity + it weights about 150.

I have 2019 and tow a 7x16 enclosed trailer for my drag bikes and Harley’s. Trailer is a v nose with short tongue so wd hitch won’t work. Trailer has cabinets in front etc so tongue weight is high. Better than 700 lbs. I put it on raptor and it dropped like 3 3/4 and sagged bad and drove like shit. I only had 1 hayabusa etc. move load back in trailer and that helped but then trailer had some sway.
I called local spring shop he laughed and said you guys and these Raptor and said 400 bucks to add some leafs etc. but he said it will hurt the ride as it will be stiffer etc. now he said the more we add stiffer it will be and truck will be about 1 inch higher. So he said call Timbren I called and they asked the distance between frame and axle perch as the see Raptor with all different distances etc He sent me a set that gives me 1 1/4 inch clearance empty. Empty truck rides normal and with trailer on it works great Just make sure when you get them you allow some clearance so truck moves as normal till loaded.

So, Timbren doesn’t make a kit for the Raptor anymore, they will make them custom to the specific distance between the frame and axle?
