As stated, I was cruising home on the interstate this evening when all of a sudden it felt like I hit a large human, truck bucked violently, collision warning flashed and threw a wrench!

Was able to make it home but had very little power and couldnt hold much more than 40-50mph on interstate. No boost at all.

Immediately i got 2 warnings on my ford pass app stating the collision sensor reported an issue. Also my drivetrain/4x4 system reported a failure.

Now, i was cruising in 4A at the time bc it was raining pretty good. Also had the adaptive cruise set. If that matters at all into this equation.

NOW.... when I got home and read the code it was P0068. Which is a MAF, manifold absolute pressure code. Which is way off from what my ford pass app was reporting the truck was communicating to it.

With all that said. I recently had an IC, AMS boost tubes, intake, and tune put on. The AMS tubes have been an issue bc apparently they were designed for 17-18's and not the 19 (which I have). The 19's have some changes that require some serious stretching and rerouting for the red and grey sensor clips to reach and connect. But only connect with considerable tension on the tubing and connection ports.... So i immediately thought a clip came loose or clamp loosened and caused a vacuum issue.

Popped hood. Everything intact, tight, and perfectly in place.

So I cleared the code, reset the ecu and pcm with my accessport and FOR NOW am wrench free.

Anyone run into this code or have any input?

just happened to me. Cleared the code and no issues after 40mph. Wondering if it ever showed it’s ugly head again.
