Hi, trying to decide whether or not to trade in my 2020 Ford raptor or sell privately.

Was offered $65k from local dealership.

I respect and appreciate everyone’s opinion, and want to make sure that I’m getting a fair offer on my trade him or offer for sale for a reasonable and fair price.

Fully Loaded, (1) Owner 2020 Ford Raptor w/ 802A Package. 39K miles, purchased brand new from Jim Ellis Ford in Sandy Springs, GA on 8/19/2020. All service records available and completed at the dealership.

Never wrecked, smoked in, etc. No rips, tears, cuts, discoloration, etc., in the interior.

No dings, dents, scuffs, etc., in the paint / body. No pets, no heavy off-roading, or any mistreatment at all.

Aftermarket Enhancements:
  1. 20” Fuel rebar wheels (12/15/2022)
  2. 37”x12.50x20 BFG KO2 A/T tires (1/15/2023)
  3. Fully electric remote controlled Retrax bed cover (9/1/2020)
  4. Rigid fog lights (10/15/2020)
  5. Tinted windows all the way around including windshield (9/1/2020)

id trade it asap before these prices keep dropping... plus youll get tax advantages on the new vehicle. i also wouldnt say the mods are super significant either, essentially all cosmetic which really doesnt add value.
KBB says 58-63 in my area for excellent condition

id take off what i could sell and trade it

I'd agree here. Availability of the Gen 3 are getting better which is softening Gen 2 prices pretty quickly. I don't think your aftermarket items are adding any value, so I'd prob remove and sell what you can to recoup some extra money, but I'd also take that offer.

Are you saying you’d also remove the leveling kit and lift that I had done to fit the 37’s? Most valuable things to sell are the wheels and tires as they are only 30 days old. I’d buy some stock 17’s with 35’s but not sure what to do about the leveling kit and lift?

I think you’d spend more on labor getting the level in the front out than it’s worth to sell it. Most trucks look fine leveled with 35s. What did you do with the original wheels and tires ?

Prob not worth taking the leveling kit off, but wheels/tires, foglights, exhaust, retrax, could all be sold and don't think it would impact the value you could sell it for.

Wheels, lights, and retrax will! Bedcover may be the only thing they actually consider apart of the trade now that I think of it but it’s very possible not !
