I currently have a 2020 with right at 40K miles. It's a garage queen never been off road. I know that we all have opinions on extended warranties and that's what I'm asking about. Is it worth it or not? Am I approaching based on miles for having a possible significant failure where I might seriously regret not having one? Or is one immanent down the road? To date have done all required maintenance, which has not been much. I've looked into them a little and we are talking about 3/4 K on having a 3/4 year extended warranty. Or should I just blow it off and deal with my future problem when it occurs? Thanks for any input I get.

My thoughts, I wish that I had purchased as much warranty as possible back when I had the chance, 5k mi out of warranty it cost me 16 or 18 hundred for the rear end to be rebuilt. Sept of last year it cost me $4300 for the cam phasers. Of course, if you buy it, you won't need it. (Murphys Law)
Best wishes for your decision

Mines paid for itself already :

Phasers
Sunroof track
Ac compressor

I feel like the service managers don't mess with you as much when they see you have a warranty on the truck.

Mine covered the Phasers and a few trips for a tailgate release actuator issue. Paid for itself 3x over and I’m only at 57k.

76k when I bought my 2018. 100k extended warranty. 86k miles warranty paid out over $10k for both front and rear axles. It was a process fooling with the warranty, but worth it.
