Things to check after taking delivery

Picked mine up two weeks ago. Found yellow and black tape in multiple locations (no big deal) and clear tape on the front two shocks. Also noticed rust on rear axle. Not sure but I think this may have happened in storage/ shipment and probably normal.

The tape standard haha I think every raptor I seen in the lot as it. As for the rust. It’***** or miss. My 2022 FX4 looked liked it sat in salt for a year underneath. The raptor though looked flawless.

It’s just surface rust though. Nothing to stress

My front left wheel had a few scratches. Dealer will fix tomorrow.

Group of cords and hoses were held together with black and yellow tape that broke apart. Replaced with zip ties.

Well consider yourself lucky. My truck had a mfg defect in hood, chip in left fender, 2 dents right fender, numerous chips and gouges right wheel, left bed trim scuffed to shit, scuffs in leather rear seat from floor mats stored on top and scratches on matte finish tail pipe. Dealer wanted to paint hood, fender and replace numerous parts. They refused to give me new wheel so I refused my order. Dealer had it listed on Facebook in less than 1 hour for 10k over msrp.

I didn't even check mine out well enough to see that, it was raining like crazy, 30deg, 20mph winds, and the truck was super dirty.
