That's fine, I can have both of my other co drivers join FRF to allow them to vent as well. I was never in the vehicle alone and the others who shared the experience with me had like minded notions until the end. The last day my co-driver desperately pleaded to be released from the equally frustrating situation, being stuck with y'all. Really gets me, even 10 mph over the 25 mph speed limit in a town the last day was unacceptably slow on my part?

This is the part I don't get Dan, the day you were going super slow the roads were way clearer than the last day and admittedly you did a lot better on the last day. You were actually driving at a normal pace; which was great and surprising, so how is it that that happened? If you say that you didn't want to go out of a comfort zone and obviously you know how to drive at a regular rate so how is it that the exact same trail (in reverse) you were driving normal compared to your 5 miles on that exact trail the day before. And in this case no one is talking about the last day, we're talking about the one day specifically thank you. And I talked to your codriver on the last day so don't try playing that card because I know a few things from him as well.

All I gotta say is I had a blast and this Yeti driver (#40) came home with the WSI Whelen light package. Thanks to Chainsaw for claiming it and making delivery in DC. Sorry I had to hit the road at 4am and not say goodbyes. Hope to see many of u at another event.

This trip was awesome and the great think about it was each driver/truck was resposnible for anything and everything that happened while they were coutious and undercontrol with the unpridictible conditions. Bad things happen when push it and take risks in those environments. I am happy and I am sure others are that no one got injured with that size of an event.

I had 3 of my brothers with me and I could not take exteme risk or risk the safety of my passengers or of the truck, drivers, and passengers in front and behind. I could have pushed it more and felt comfortable in some cases and should have gone slower is some cases to ease the tension in their asses. believe me I heard it from all of them! And I think, well I know, our group worked well together.

If you wanna be careless do it on your own time.

And if I remember correctly there is no "I" in TEAM!!!

and for the record "If you ain't first your last!" Charlie Co.

Perhaps this is your opinion, HOWEVER my first and second (once the GF flew out) copilots share/shared my thoughts. TBI I attempted to maintain a constant momentum all weekend with little change.

So Dan, do you feel that you got better as the days went on? We had someone in B group that was driving at his comfort level and he felt and I noticed that he got better as we went on. I waited at the turns for him and then blasted the trails he came up to me at the stops and said I aint driving as fast as you are I do not feel comfortable doing so. He apologized and I told its not a big deal I dont mind it at all.

I got to be jack man. I also learned I need a better jack![/QUOote

Don't blame the equipment!

Though that chainsaw work you did was impressive, like maybe you've done it before.

On the good side, that radio work was "off the chain" as they say.

Can someone check with FMS and see if it safe for 2wd yet? lol

I have to say as a member of Bravo each time we caught another group we were all very mad. Can you smell the sarcasm! Really we had no problem waiting for other groups as I hope they had no problem waiting or rerouting on saturday night when we had the failed attempt to blaze trial on the peshekee grade. For me and a few of the guys I know well in Bravo there were no ill feelings and we enjoyed the breaks.

We were very fortunate to have 2 days of no tows or mechanical problems some of that is due to running at the back. Each group that passes the road gets better and faster so following groups will catch up by default.

But really I am very upset and must go back next year to make it right! (smell the sarcasm)!!

I am sure there are some that will say we (Bravo) are speed demons, we may be to fast for some but the speeds were down from last year for our group.

Chase lights are a must but they need to be the right intensity we had one in our group that was very bright. I am going to tint or hook up a dimmer to mine as I am sure mine was very bright especially as we got close. Also flashing lights are not good for me.

Read so felt I should answer:

Be it good, or be it bad, I knew/know my comfort level before the staging line. It may have taken a small amount of time to adjust to the large quantity of snow and ice conditions (which was a new experience), but it wasn't my first rodeo, metaphorically speaking, when it comes to off-roading. I feel my group may have had been happier the last day and falsely credits me for going faster at that point, because they were allowed more freedom to go hammer down leaving us in the dust. Not that that's bad, really no complaints. I have a radio setup that's capable of listening into on one of Gods private conversations. Therefore, I was never concerned. Being able to hear the negative chatter was our only issues.

Talk later got a trail to hit before dark :headbang:
