The salesman told me that too. He knew almost nothing. Had it not been for the great folks here I still would have no info. I would check here,get the right info then call him. And every time he was wrong in what he told me... Tried telling me that wait was due to beadlocks, when it was allotment...

So follow the lead from these guys.They know what they are talking about...

No , your DORA is a receipt acknowledgement stating what you ordered and what the options are and that the order is infact ordered. The only thing you wait for is your vin number when the order is scheduled to be built. Sounds like you to need to run before what happened to RLTW happens to you!

I see you do have your VOC. Did you confirm with SVT that your order is in the system with the correct configuration?

I look at it like the VOC is on the dealer end and the DORA is on Ford's end. The DORA is the receipt that Ford got your order. I personally never asked for my DORA (good or bad) because I have my VOC and I confirmed the details with SVT.

No, the VOC and DORA are two different documents, I suppose you dont have to have a DORA, if you have an order number and the dealership number you can call the svt phone line and check to see if they have your order ordered. But getting the DORA shouldn't be an issue, and if it is then there is likely an issue with your order in my opinion. Don't let what happened to me happen to you.

Okay, spoke to the dealer a little while ago and he said that they have not met their allocation but the demand is so high for Raptors that it takes a while to get one scheduled. I looked at my VOC again and it says I'm a priority 10. If the dealer hasn't met their allocation and I'm priority 10 then how long can I plan on waiting before it is scheduled?

well it could be a while before SVT/ Ford schedule it for build, but even before that they should be tracking it as an unscheduled order, you can confirm with SVT.

Two big factors:

Are they assigning everybody a priority 10 and then going by first in first out or are you next in line? (Priority 10 is the highest a dealer can assign). My dealer moves everybody up as a Raptor is pulled. I started at priority 12, moved up to an 11 and then finally a 10 as two Raptors were pulled ahead of me. Some dealers though just assign everyone a priority 10 and then they get pulled based on who's been waiting the longest.

The other factor obviously is allotment. How many do they get a month? My dealer is around 1. Bigger dealers can have quite a bit more.

Maybe they will tell you how many Raptor orders are ahead of you and what their monthly allotment is. Mine did but some won't. Maybe you can at least find out if you're next in line. If not, then everyone is a 10.
