Figure I might as well update...
Update: week 19 sense I handed over my hard earned cash and signed the dotted line.
12/10/12 - SVT suggested I call Ford Customer Solutions sense there is definitely something wrong.. So I call them up and give them all my information.. I almost have my F'n VIN memorized by this point.. they say we will call you back in 48 with a resolution. Great, semi happy that someone is willing to do SOMETHING.
12/13/12 - 72 hrs and still no damn call back! Called FCS back and give them all the same damn information again.. they tell me there was no record of me calling the first time and they're going to 'escalate' this to a supervisor. I will have a call back from their supervisor with a resolution before the end of the day. I ask for the ticket number this time and this is the response I get.. "We cannot give you your ticket number. That will be given to you by the person who calls you back.." ..I inform him that this is exactly what happened on the 10th.. all he does is apologies again and assure me this won't happen again..
12/18/12 - 8 days sense my first call and 6 days sense the second.. once again no ****ING call back, so I call FCS again.. give them the SAME F'N information again.. they put me on hold for 15 minutes. Guess they were hoping I'd just hangup. I didn't! Finally they get back to me and informed me that my truck was STILL sitting on Ramp 59 awaiting inspection and should ship soon. They saw where this information was passed to the supervisor on Monday and they never called me.. then a reminder was sent to them on Thursday when I called back.. and still nothing was done!
I'm 32 and I've owned 9 Fords in the last 15 yrs, the last 3 of which I bought brand new, and this ******** has me wondering how nice those 2013 Dodges really are?
