My truck was built on October 30th. It sat at the Michigan ramp for 4 weeks.
it's a transportation thing everyone. they need to fill the trains.
i got a little pissy too about the wait, but remained patient.
I got my truck last Thursday the 13th. 6 weeks after it was built.
SVT told me on the phone it will be delivered in 3-6 weeks. it took 6 weeks so i cant complain.
other than that the truck is unbelievable and worth the wait. just call SVT every friday for an update. they will tell you were the truck is...ie at the ramp, on the train, what city it's passing by while on the train, when it gets delivered, and so on...
If you have a CSX train car # (I got mine from the dealer) call...

Automated voice will ask if you want location or weight... say "location"
It will ask for alpha character at the beginning of your train car #
It will ask the numbers after the letters on the train car
Then jump for joy or start crying...

wow, well since we're both in the mid atlantic maybe when mine gets built on the 20th they can ship together, i got an ETA of Jan 14th, which i'm hoping for but not really counting on it.Mines been there sense Oct 26th...

SVT tells me this morning that my build date changed again. First it was the 10th, then the 12th, then the 17th. When I called this mornig they said the truck was built on the 16th. On a Sunday?? I guess that's better than a Monday truck.
They say it's been sent to transportation but based on the comments here I'm not holding my breath. Current eta is the 7th of Jan.
My dealer is in Columbia Maryland. The sticker says it's coming by convoy but SVT says it will likely be rail. Does that delay things?

Figure I might as well update...
Update: week 19 sense I handed over my hard earned cash and signed the dotted line.
12/10/12 - SVT suggested I call Ford Customer Solutions sense there is definitely something wrong.. So I call them up and give them all my information.. I almost have my F'n VIN memorized by this point.. they say we will call you back in 48 with a resolution. Great, semi happy that someone is willing to do SOMETHING.
12/13/12 - 72 hrs and still no damn call back! Called FCS back and give them all the same damn information again.. they tell me there was no record of me calling the first time and they're going to 'escalate' this to a supervisor. I will have a call back from their supervisor with a resolution before the end of the day. I ask for the ticket number this time and this is the response I get.. "We cannot give you your ticket number. That will be given to you by the person who calls you back.." ..I inform him that this is exactly what happened on the 10th.. all he does is apologies again and assure me this won't happen again..
12/18/12 - 8 days sense my first call and 6 days sense the second.. once again no ****ING call back, so I call FCS again.. give them the SAME F'N information again.. they put me on hold for 15 minutes. Guess they were hoping I'd just hangup. I didn't! Finally they get back to me and informed me that my truck was STILL sitting on Ramp 59 awaiting inspection and should ship soon. They saw where this information was passed to the supervisor on Monday and they never called me.. then a reminder was sent to them on Thursday when I called back.. and still nothing was done!
I'm 32 and I've owned 9 Fords in the last 15 yrs, the last 3 of which I bought brand new, and this ******** has me wondering how nice those 2013 Dodges really are?

Hang in there, 69Mach1. I am week 28, and my truck is nowsitting at a railyard about 20 miles from my house. It has been there since Sat. Who knows how long it will sit there before the dealer gets it in their posession. So close but still so far.

I contacted my dealer yesterday trying to add the Ford Bead lock capable wheels to my order. He got back to me today that he was unable to do it because my order was listed as unavailable. I already have a VIN and build week, so I decided to check out my VIN on the search. Sure enough, my Windows sticker is out there. Build date is 1/2/2013. Just after they get back from their Christmas vacation. Hopefully they have had plenty of time to relax and are now ready to get to work building my truck. 
I am nervous though with the shipping times to New Jersey that 69Mach1 is having.
