Called svt this morning, raptor was loaded onto the train this morning. Still in Dearborn but progress nonetheless. Eta 7th.

Honestly, I think silver is THE color for these trucks. It really pops and looks very "rich" or classy. I may decide to put an aftermarket hood graphic on it later though, but NO WAY would I pay for the factory one.

Since I've decided on the SCAB (and without a lot of extras except 801A and front/rear cameras), I'll be ordering much earlier than I originally thought so It's time to get serious on the color.

I've started a thread in the Prospective Owners area called SCAB Pictures. I'm hoping I can get some SCAB owners to post pics and help me decide what color to choose. In my mind the only one I've probably eliminated is Red. Silver is definitely up there. Yours is on mid perch already isn't it?

So now that my order has been pulled what's the next step? I know getting it built but how long does that take? And what info will I receive from my dealer??

When your order gets pulled, Ford assigns your truck a VIN (your dealer is notified that you have a VIN). Also Ford assigns a build week to your truck. Build weeks always start on Monday. For example you may have a build week of 12/31 (Monday). For the sake of this example, when your build week gets closer, Ford will assign you an actual build day. For example during the build week of 12/31 (Monday) you truck will be built on 1/3 (Thursday). I hope this makes sense.

Once your truck is built, it will sit and await shipment to your dealer. SVT will tell that the ETA to your dealership can be anywhere from 3-6 weeks.

One more tidbit. Once you get within a 7 day window of your build day, your VIN should produce a window sticker. Just replace your VIN and the end of this URL >> http://services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1FTFW1R63DFA66096

there are silver chevys, dodges, toyotas, nissans, buicks, cadillacs, jeeps, lincolns, smart cars, bicycles, canoes, wheelchairs, sailboats and forklifts. but only the raptor can be had in terrain.
