I’m absolutely blown away this kind of shit bends people out of shape so bad. All these shocks were designed by a human, who inputted their ideas into a computer and in the end, crapped out a shock for the Raptor world to drool over. Everyone one of them has had their issues, and hopefully all the shock manufactures are learning from these experiences and bettering their product. I personally feel whatever the motivation is behind releasing these types of pics don’t really matter because this kind of stuff always gets out one way or another. I know Gordon to be a very good family man who craves learning about things and doesn’t mind pointing out both his own mistakes, and others. If Icon has a 10 cent seal that’s blowing, no biggy they will fix it. If it turns out that it’s a larger issue, I have no doubt they will get to the bottom of it just as Fox and King do with issues that they see come up. Lord knows RPG has made our fair share of mistakes. The key is learn from it, fix it and move on.
With regards to the run itself, I wasn’t at the event so I really have no idea what all the drama and hoopla is about. If a truck running Icons passed an RPG truck in a big whoop section then I guess we have two ways to approach it. Option A, get back to the drawing board and make sure we better our products to stay ahead of the pack, or B, chalk it up to the fact Corey drives like a little old lady and will take 10 lashings from me tomorrow for letting such a thing happen. Either way, both are unacceptable in my mind.
Some things were said by BlueSVT that can easily be answered but I have neither the time, nor desire to sit here and address them anymore because the vast, and I mean the vast majority of them are complete horse shit and unfounded with pure malice behind them. Bottom line, we all drive the same truck, we all have the same passion, and we all yearn to make them go faster. At the end of the day, I’m glad to hear you guys and gals all made it home safe and sound and I look forward to hanging out with everyone in Texas as one big dysfunctional family.
