I'm surprised at all the hate for the tailgate. I think it looks really good to be honest. You have to imagine this thing with all the aftermarket goodies that will be available.

I like it. Seems like you won't have to make the perch adjustment. Seats look sweet. Glad they are bringing back the scab.

Dig the front end and tailgate. Like the dual pipes. V8 would be cool but who cares. Power is where it's at. Let the order banks open!

Also, what's up with introducing a product, which is almost two years away? There is a bunch BS going on at Ford.

Its a TEASER.. Have you been living under a rock? Car Manufacturers due this all the time. This is a pre production model to build the hype, get feedback and such and then down the road we will start getting Production details leaked.

Actually, it's considered not a good strategy as competition has ample time to catch up, while people get tired of waiting and settle down on some other alternatives. Besides, two years is a very long time with current technological progress rate. Check news about Acura NSX, where every article is likely to start with how long and painful way to fruition it was. I doubt people are as excited as they were at the very beginning when it was just announced.

It is a good strategy. Now that it is out, they'll have plenty of test models out there going through every possible scenario. I'd rather have a manufacturer spend 2 years working out bugs and fixing/upgrading things, then putting something out and it being a total flop.
