I'm a 3 week new member and joined when i realized that i actually had one of these beasts coming in.
I'v been in Fords for 10 or so years now and i have loved every one of them. I started with a 3/4 ton Super Duty Diesel crew cab and have had them since until now. I put on 30-40k per year and 1/4 of it is towing the Bass rig around. I struggled with the decision because of all the towing, but figured the majority of bass boats are hauled with gas jobs so I took the plunge.
So during the first week of December I called my dealer and ordered a crew cab SVT black with 801a and the graphics package. I added the tail gate step to get my F)& A!# in the back when i need to. I got confirmation that my VIN is on rail(whatever that means) and is now in NY waiting for truck delivery.
I decided that i would keep my 2011 250 and use it as a work truck and tow when with it when i make long trips.
I can't wait to get my new ride. I hope there are no real service issues as i do a lot of driving and don't want to have any extended service stays. That always frustrated me with the Diesels.
So excited......
