I love the yeti 65 I have. You have to use it smartly though. Open air space in a cooler is bad for longevity of the ice. I have left it out in the sun for a week straight, left it on a boat, the next weekend everything was still cold and about 75% of the ice was still frozen. I like the handles and the carry position better than the pelican. I didn't know about the bison brand when buying the yeti.

I too have seen them on FB. That's what sparked my interest in them. I have seen some good things about some of their soft packs, tumblers and smaller items. Just curious about the hard side coolers. I guess I will have to get one and be the guinea pig.

If I was going to try one, I would get one of their SoftPak's. Looks to be 100% waterproof.

The only thing I see as in the warranty of these same coolers with the Yeti is the 5 year warranty . We sell the Grizzly coolers , which are a lifetime warranty and are made out of the same great material and built here win the USA . The Grizzly also have 2" drains and reversible latches . Monster energy just bought 5k grizzly coolers for their promotions . Im sure they bough them for a reason ...=)

I have a Coleman Sportsman 20. It their small version of a rotomolded high end cooler. Great deal at 100 bucks from Sam's club website too. I'm a Boy Scouts Assistant Scout Master, so i camp once a month, and i swear by this cooler. I fill it and put it in my tent, and I come home with most of my ice every weekend.

Just got here today. Already digging the latches and dual drains. I'll take it on a run in a couple weeks and see how it does.

Matco and Yeti teamed up for Matco branded coolers. Picked up a 65 from my matco guy. Perfect timing for my vacation in two weeks
